UToledo opens 2027-28 financial aid and donor scholarship applications

Applications for the 2027-28 Free Application for Federal Student Aid and University of Toledo donor scholarships are open, the university announced Oct. 14, 2026.

The applications cover aid planning for summer 2027, fall 2027 and spring 2028. Students applying through StudentAid.gov should use UToledo’s federal school code, 003131, according to the university.

The FAFSA is used to determine eligibility for federal and state grants, federal work-study and federal student or parent loans, the university said.

Donor-funded scholarships have a separate application process through UToledo’s scholarship portal. Most scholarship deadlines are March 1, although individual awards can have different deadlines.

Students who need assistance can visit Rocket Solution Central for walk-in help with either application. The office provides computers in its lobby and staff guidance.

Rocket Solution Central is in Tucker Hall, Room 0100, with entry through the Saloff Welcome Center. Its hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
